Good idea. What about NON-Metric >UNITS, as many said in earlier postings that >it is not a system.
Idea here is not Metric, non-Metric or US customary/Imperial system of units. Problem, as I feel, is the disbursement of knowledge among children 'getting confused' due to multiple teaching of units.
It is the Trader or the scout monitoring the progressive change to Metric who fail to deliver that "METRIC is what is related to the length unit 'Metre' of Le System Internationale d'Unites or else call the unit non-Metric. This naturally mean a revision
inter-bridging the SI-language and the customary units used in practice: the soft way teaching may be easier to implement - using SI first and '(customary in parenthesis)' Using hard conversions and multiple teaching is what causes the confused child not to learn and remain following the easier traits. It is therefore necessary to "catch them young and make the child learn *by the Metre'* Lady at home is their natural teacher
avoiding 'where to avoid putting the Foot - unless to bring home in teaching her ward to learn METRE and hence the Metric Norms'. This shall also save in Tax-payers' drain via the governmental spendings. Is is difficult to make ammend and accept the "spellings of length unit" shall be METRE and not 'meter to mean a measurement instrument'?
