Dear Walter and Calendar People

I would appreciate from Walter a full explanation of his Balanced French Calendar and How dates such as Sunday Beta Frimaire would be constructed in any year.

Dear Karl

The Balance French Calendar, without the week naming rule, is described on the wikia

The week naming rule would be similar to the ISO 8601, but applied to each month, and identified by Greek letters Alpha week of any month is the first week, beginning on Monday,  that includes a Thursday

Dear Walter and Calendar People

Thank you Walter for your idea.

I would consider it a bad idea, because it does not a have a simplicity shared by the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars and most calendar reforms. This is the requirement that each month with few exceptions has the same number of days every year. The variations of month lengths would cause every Epsilon week to occur in some years only.
